Rhiannon Bidwell

Rhiannon is a first year trainee solicitor at DLA Piper UK LLP. Rhiannon attended the the University of Portsmouth graduating with a 2:1 in business with law and attended the University of Law for the LPC and MSc in law, business and management. She has a keen interest in corporate, commercial and legal technology.

Michael Johnson

Michael is an LLM student at BPP and a UCL history graduate. He is currently studying with the aim of becoming a solicitor. Generally, he keeps a lookout for anything tech-related but particularly anything in the telecoms sector. Michael also has an interest in banking law having written his dissertation about banking regulations and personal liability.

Valerie Tchikhiaeva

Valerie is undergraduate from University of Westminster, commencing to City, University of Law to commence BPTC and LLM studies. She is currently the Vice President of the Legal Bar Society and International Trade Course Representative at my University, as well as a Senior Legal Consultant at Westminster Business Consultants. Valerie volunteers weekly at the Citizens Advice Bureau, providing employment and debt solutions. She aspires to be a Barrister with speciality in International Trade or Intellectual Property as Blockchain technology develops and she is murrently offering over 50 hours a week to Four Acre Health Centre NHS, at which she is a Non-Medical Partner, to help with demand surrounding COVID-19. 

Her hobbies include travelling as well as investing.

Bryher Rose

Bryher is a recent LLB Law Graduate from the University of Bristol, who aspires to become a solicitor. She is particularly interested in Corporate Law and Legal Technology. Whilst at university, Bryher held the position of General Secretary for Lawyers Without Borders and was also an Editor of the principal copy of Bristol Law Review. Since leaving university, she has been working as a Legal Associate at a legal-tech tart up, F-LEX Legal. In her spare time, she enjoys sport, pro-bono work and is currently learning to code.

She is an aspiring criminal barrister seeks to practice general crime. In her spare time, Claudia rows competitively and thoroughly enjoys racing throughout the year.

Celine D Kart

Celine is a final year law student from Istanbul, living in West Yorkshire and is currently completing her studies at St Chad's College, Durham University. Throughout her time at university, Celine has engaged in several pro-bono projects and has engaged in initiatives to broaden participation and accessibility on campus. Celine is pursuing a career at the Bar on the North-Eastern Circuit and is particularly interested in developing a mixed family and criminal practice, specialising in vulnerable witnesses. In her spare time, she enjoys throwing pottery, writing poetry and walking her labrador, Benji.

Melisa is a final year* student at Birmingham City University and aspires to become an International Human Rights Advocate and domestic barrister after completing her university studies to doctoral level. She is particularly interested in human rights, international relations and criminal law. In her free time, Melisa enjoys to learn new recipes or practice a new language with the goal of becoming a hyper-polyglot and likes to document her experience on her Instagram ‘blog’.

Ria is a First-Year LLB undergraduate studying at the University of York and aspires to become a commercial solicitor, with particular interest for the complexities within the M&A market as well as the progressive LawTech field. Her interests range from advocacy and debating within societies such as LawSoc and MUN to volunteering in charities such as SolidariTee and the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative, as well as with NGOs such as New Age Women in India.

Alexi Norris

Alexi a Law “Senior Status” student at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) and History graduate from King’s College London. She is an Aspiring Barrister with a keen interest in Administrative, Criminal and some areas of Commercial Law. Alexi is also the President of QMUL’s Bar Society, and previously the Director of Events & Competitions of QMUL’s ADR Society. She also work part-time as a Legal Administrative Assistant within a criminal law firm in central London and her hobbies include Makeup Artistry - when I worked at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty for over 2 years - and drumming.

Lily Wildman

Lily is a final year student, studying law at Durham University. Lily aspires to be a barrister and is particularly interested in pursuing a practice in family and criminal law. Lily has also had experience in corporate law after successfully being offered a training contract at Magic Circle law firm, Clifford Chance. She has been involved in various pro-bono projects across the North-East including the ‘Access to Justice’ project and is currently a student ambassador for the National Organisation for the Treatment of Abusers (NOTA). Lily’s particular interests include criminal justice, women’s rights and court of protection work. In her free time Lily enjoys playing piano, writing and spending time with her Border Collie puppy, Slyvie.

Bridget Omeyi Ogboji

Bridget is an International student from Nigeria who moved to the UK in 2014 to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer. Bridget is currently a LLM BTC student at Nottingham Law school and a LLM (Human rights and justice) and LLB (General Law) graduate from Nottingham Trent University. Bridget is particularly interested in Family and Human Rights law. 

Since graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Law, Bridget has spent time volunteering as a General adviser and student volunteer in various legal charities such as the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum and the Nottingham County Court's Support Through Court. In her free time, Bridget enjoys listening to all genres of music, reading novels and watching movies

She is particularly interested in family law and human rights.

Antonella discussed her LL.M. thesis at the University of Bari on relationships between UN and regional organizations in the maintenance of International peace and security. The experience as a legal consultant for charities in UK has sparked interest in Common Law, in the hope that a comparative legal analysis will lead to a mutual improvement of the different legal systems or, perhaps, to the construction of a uniform system of rules. Harriet Storey-Brown

Harriet is a University of Manchester History graduate and aspires to be a solicitor. She currently works as a client support assistant at a global law firm and is particularly interested in human rights and medical law. Subsequently, she focused her third-year thesis around international refugee law in the aftermath of the Rwandan Genocide in 1994 and participated in pro bono work at a law centre alongside her university studies. Harriet begins her conversion course at the beginning of 2021 and hopes to continue her involvement in pro bono and human rights projects.

Emma is studying LLB Law distance learning at Nottingham Trent University. She is an aspiring barrister wanting to specialise in Catastrophic injury, Banking Law or Family Law and she is currently working full time as an assistant to a partner in a law firm in the EL/PL department. Emma also has interests in commercial property, and mergers and acquisitions and also how AI platforms  will impact the legal sector. In her spare time Emma likes to watch legal dramas, enjoys going to the gym and is currently relaunching her legal blog.

Hannah is a current BPTC Student at Cardiff University who graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Reading University in 2019. She is particularly interested in Criminal Law, however is not yet set on an area of law she wishes to specialise in and therefore seeking a common- law pupillage. Hannah enjoys weight- lifting, skiing and regularly volunteers to walk dogs at her local Dogs Home.
